PAINT CORRECTION
There are many ways that scratches and swirls can develop in your paint, but the most common are from machine car washes or improper handwashing/drying methods at home. They degrade that glossy look, color, and even the feel of your paint. We utilize a variety of compounds, polishes, and tools to perform to bring back that rich glow.
CERAMIC COATING
Ceramic coatings are longer lasting, more durable to the elements, and more hydrophobic than any conventional wax or sealant. They provide a sacrificial barrier that keeps your clear coat safer from chemical etching and swirls that maintenance washing can cause.
HAND WASHING
Any machine car wash, touchless or the ones with spinning brushes (never use those) use harsh non ph balanced chemicals that don't properly lubricate the paint before washing and will both accelerate clear coat failure and cause scratches/swirls rapidly. Washing by hand with a proper rinse down prior to laying a hand on the paint is the safest method to clean your vehicle.
IRON FALLOUT REMOVAL
Paint will collect brake dust from other vehicles as well as any other contaminants on the road over time. This is the first step to perform after a wash to ensure the paint is fully free of contamination prior to polishing or applying any type of protection, and we mandate this service prior to any paint correction. Here you can see the chemical reacting to all the iron and overspray that was left behind even after an extensive wash.
CLAY DECONTAMINATION
This is the second recommended step of decontamination prior to applying any type of coating or performing a paint correction. Iron remover helps loosen and breakdown particulates, but the clay bar is the real workhorse for decontamination. Here you can see just how much came out from the hood of the vehicle above even after the iron removal.
SEALANTS & WAXES
Sealants and waxes will always be a staple in the detailing industry. They are an easier to apply layer of protection that gives your paint that glossy wet look. We offer a multitude of options here depending on your vehicle and its finish.
PAINT OXIDATION
Paint that has been severely neglected and sitting out in the elements without moving can dry out. The top layer of the clear coat will begin to bake, crack, and lose its translucence. It can even cause the paint to look like an entirely different color and give it an almost matte finish. Through machine polishing we can restore the gloss and structural integrity of your finish.
HEADLIGHT RESTORATION
Headlights come from the factory with a thin layer of clear that protects it from the sun. Over time that layer deteriorates and once it does the plastic underneath will get baked by the uv rays. Through wet sanding, polishing, and re-spraying with clear we can bring your headlights back to a factory finish.
WHEEL DETAILING
Wheels and tires usually get the worst exposure to the elements. Over time brake dust, overspray, dirt, and anything else on the road can get lodged in your wheels and stain your tires. We offer deep cleaning services and coatings for both that can last from months to years to keep them cleaner for longer and easier to maintain.
ENGINE BAY
While not seen on a day to day basis it is important to clean your engine bay every so often. Keeping it free of contaminants and dust/debris can keep metal parts from developing rust and reduce the risk of shorts in the electrical system, while also increaing life on small fragile parts.
